Horsetail Waterfall - Yosemite National Park

Judge's comment:   "Another masterful photograph. The vertical picture plane, vertical motif/waterfall creates a strong sense of space and time while the small upper part (landscape) gives stability and grounding, a great comparison of size, scale and proportion which is quite dramatic. There is a special "inner" light being emitted in the foreground as well as in the falls."
"I feel the atmosphere and my face is wet."

Joining my household is Liberty, named because she was born on Memorial Day. And she gets along with Molly and Julius the cats, Gadget and Gismo the ferrets, but does bark at the chickens. She to walk on my head at 5am and loves playing in the sprinkler when I'm trying to water.

Iceland

Last month my travels took me to Iceland. Most exciting were the water falls and the rainbows. The wild life? I love the Icelandic Horses.

Traveled 250 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska; 35 miles north of the Arctic Circle, to the huge village of Bettles, population 30 during the winter and 50 during the summer.At about 12:45 in the morning we got the word, "its happening"! The Northern Lights.

Skippy the Squirrel

How does a squirrel get peanut butter off his nose? When I finish a jar of peanut butter I put the leftover bits for the birds, the chickadees love it. This time Skippy decided to come in for a lunch time snack.
